Do I need to make any special arrangements for placing the container on the ground?
Containers are designed to sit on their four corner posts, so the only essential requirement is that the ground is firm and level to prevent twisting of the doors, this is known as racking and can only be correct by re lifting the container and placing it back down again.
If the container is going to remain in a static position for an extended period, we do recommend putting a paving sized block (concrete or treated timber) under each corner to allow for airflow under the container.
